Sexy, lighthearted and fun!

A previous review of this edition stated that the first and last line of every page of text were missing. While I have no doubt that was true at the time, sometime in the last 18 months this appears to have been fixed and the text of this Kindle edition has no defects.

As for the book, if you like erotic Victorian tales where everyone eventually has coupled with everyone else by the end of the book, and the flowery euphemisms of the period are used to describe each body part and sex act, you should enjoy this farce. This was light reading of a tawdry nature in 1890, but today the antique language and tame sexual escapades give the book an amusing charm. At the same time, the book can be very "hot" in places, because the author's true appreciation for carnal pleasures -and familiarity with the subject matter- ring very true, even today.

The exposition is guided by the following considerations: (a) What are the supporting basic ideas and what intrinsic interrelations exist between them? (/3) In what relation do the basic ideas stand to the known propositions of classical analysis and linear functional analysis? ( y) What typical applications are there? This is the fourth of E. Zeidler's amazing 5 volume set (I,IIa,IIb,III,IV) on nonlinear functional analysis and it's applications. I am a real fan of these books and have used this particular volume to understand various fine points of variational theory. For example, I very much liked chapter 48 on generalized Lagrange multipliers (Dubovickii-Miljutin theory).

In this way, we hope that the reader will not only become fluent in the concepts but also in the “nuts and bolts” of translating these concepts into functioning, efficient standard C code. Some of the animations are in the form of diagrams, while other animations are in the form of role-plays -- where people play the part of various elements of the data structure, illustrating how they interact.

I'm one of the authors of this book, and I wanted to point out that this book comes with a CD-ROM full of animations illustrating the concepts.

Some of the animations are in the form of diagrams, while other animations are in the form of role-plays -- where people play the part of various elements of the data structure, illustrating how they interact.

Most books on this subject are dry and boring. To avoid this, we used an informal story-telling style, interjecting intersting stories and humour.

Realize your Strengths and Build on Them!

This book and the assessment that come with it have been surprisingly helpful in my personal development. This book is not based on advances in science, and should be taken with a bit of a grain of salt, but the strengths I was said to have and their descriptions seemed to fit exactly what traits I thought/want to have (except they described them even better than I could). As this is an external assessment, the validation that I do indeed display these traits was surprising! As it goes on to list these as strengths, not just traits, and then informs you how to utilize them, I realized that these innate traits of mine could seriously be helpful in numerous situations (professional, emotional, etc)... and once I actually started improving on them and confidently displaying them (as they are strengths, not just traits), my professional growth exponentially accelerated and I became an overall significantly more confident person. I now realize my own abilities and proudly display and make use of them, knowing the power of my own strengths.

Strengths Quest: Discover and Develop Your Strengths in Academics

This book was used in a college Psych class. The book includes a code for an online assessment of the readers top five strengths and talents. This was life-changing for me. I think every one should take this assessment when they are around junior high age. But, it is good at any age. To know your strongest strengths and talents will help you realize that you have your own combination of ability strengths. Often, we think, because we do things differently or think differently from others, we are lacking, when actually, our strengths and talents are different. When we know what those are, we can work on developing the very strengths we naturally have, already, and become better and better at using our own natural abilities. This can help people direct themselves towards employment in which they will naturally enjoy, appreciate and excel.

This book is very well organized. When taking notes, I had no problem trying to find exactly what I needed. Keep in mind the used ones don't have the online access code unless it's implied, and they're usually a LOT more spendy. Be aware!

A very Powerful Technique that anyone can do

I own one of Vianna's previous books, Go up and Work with God, and I've got to say this one is more than "expanded" as the title suggests. This is a whole new book, organized with way more flow and chalked full of 'extra' information and detail.
I personally use the technique taught in this book and learned it directly from the book. I took no course, just read the book and followed the instructions, it's that easy! I can feel tremendous energy and am having fantastic results!
Out of all the energy medicine books I've read this is the best. It's a hands on technique, little theory with a whole lot of practical.
Highly recommended for the beginner, novice and expert practitioner.

Best I've seen

OK, there are misspellings and grammatical mistakes, big deal, the information is really neat, and more importantly, it WORKS. This book is packed with useful information. I read it 5 times through, getting useful stuff each time. I have been able to master her methods from the book, though I do also plan to take a seminar. I got more results faster with this book than any other. She doesn't just talk about feelings, she notes that you can download feelings you lack. This book, along with Richard Bartlett's Matrix Energetics: The Science and Art of Transformation, was highly recommended in a LOA course I took. I went back and forth between them, which helped me understand each of them better. No rehashes here, this lady got her stuff pure. I got a copy for my daughter, for someone at work, and for my wife. I sent copies of her previous books to other friends. I have one thing to say on this book: YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now Vianna may perhaps have gotten somewhat too full of herself, in the last few years. She has detractors on the web. The book itself is good. I would probably not take any courses with Vianna, based on what her students have told me, but then again I don't need to, I have this book. I tried the techniques myself, and they worked for me. The detractors seem to want to force every theory into their own little boxes. This doesn't work. You have to enter into the world of the author of any book, to understand it. When I was studying calculus, which I found difficult, I had to enter it from the textbook author's viewpoint, to do anything. I couldn't force that text into my own restricted ideas. Same with this. The people giving it high marks do so from inside the book; the detractors clearly never entered into what the book is talking about. Oh well. One energy/feeling I downloaded was for my life to be better than the best I could imagine, a la Neville Goddard. At work, they did a workload equalization, which I hadn't seen or heard of in 20 years. Things aren't perfect, but they are- yes- better than the best I could have imagined, when I started. When my newborn daughter was in the hospital, she was getting vaccines, which would give her high fevers, really high, enough that the nurses got really nervous. I alternated between Matrix Energetics and this book, as this was all I had to read for 3 weeks in the hospital as I stayed with my daughter- my wife was sick- and each time, the fevers went down. Of course this was no kind of medical treatment, only an altering of patterns, however I was very convinced the book was useful. Other problems just kind of melted away. This book, and the other books I've cited, are the first steps into the world of human scale Quantum Mechanics, out of the Cartesian/Newtonian paradigm that physics left over 100 years ago, but which society is only now starting to leave. Books on shamanic work make a lot more sense in the light of Theta Healing. Heck, there are scientists who think we are only a bunch of chemicals. That's fine- but that is only their viewpoint. I want as many viewpoints as I can get- as with Neils Bohr's multi-model concept- so I can get some idea of what is real. This book helped and helps me.

Advance Healing Work

Have you read Vianna Stibal's amazing books, Go Up and Seek God and Go Up and Work with God? Well, don't fret, this book is a compilation of those two plus a new healing modality on "feelings." That's right, this book contains guidelines on how you can download certain feelings you'd like to have.

This is advance healing work where you go to Theta (slow your brainwaves enough to completely connect with your subconscious) and change your mental programs. Why do I call this advance? The healing takes place in another plane, so you astral travel. You check the DNA codes (see it) and change it around to heal certain conditions like near sightedness, aging, etc.

With guidance from this book, anything is possible.
